Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements: 26-week contracts. Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT Location: Oklahoma Contract Length: Full-time Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Respiratory Care Practitioner will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels and in all areas served by the department. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic treatments, recording treatment information, performing diagnostic testing, and maintaining respiratory equipment. The role also involves responding to cardiac and respiratory arrests as part of the quick response team.
Required Qualifications: Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program. Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must be received within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting.
Additional Information: Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment. Clinical decision-making skills appropriate to patient care as it relates to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient. Ability to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient’s needs. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under stress. Some computer skills.
