This executive will be a pivotal force in driving technology transformation, platform modernization, and strategic differentiation. The role involves overseeing architectural leadership in network and security platform capabilities, creating and scaling an AI-native product security and application security engineering organization, and developing Layer 7 networking applications with a focus on AI capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing architecture standards, building security talent, and partnering across various teams to accelerate innovation and enhance the company's security posture. Candidates for this role at The Company should have an advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 15 years' experience in software engineering and technology leadership. A proven track record in launching and building early security app or security platform-like products is essential, as is a strong background in the networking domain. The VP will be expected to be a strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, a deep understanding of emerging technologies, and expertise in modern software engineering practices. Critical leadership competencies include being a visionary platform builder, an architectural and technical leader, a systems thinker, and a transformational enterprise leader.
