About the role

Employment Litigation Associate Join a respected and growing labor & employment practice where you'll have the opportunity to work on sophisticated workplace disputes, provide strategic counsel to employers, and gain meaningful courtroom and client-facing experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their expertise in management-side employment law while collaborating with a highly regarded team handling complex and high-impact matters. The group offers exposure to a broad range of employment issues and a platform for long-term professional growth.
Key Responsibilities: Advise employer clients on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including workplace policies, compliance matters, and risk management strategies. Represent employers in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. Manage all phases of litigation, including legal research, drafting motions, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to develop practical solutions for complex workforce challenges. Support the defense of wage and hour disputes, collective actions, and class action matters as needed.
Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission
  • Minimum of 2 years of labor and employment law experience.
  • Experience with employment litigation and employer-side workplace counseling.
  • Experience representing management-side employers.
  • Experience with wage and hour litigation, including collective and class action matters.
  • Experience appearing before administrative agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent academic and professional credentials.
