Opening Doors began in 1993 as a small refugee resettlement agency, and today serves 2,000 clients per year across our 5 program areas: Refugee Programs, Survivors of Trafficking Programs, Immigration Legal Services, Health Programs, and Economic Prosperity Programs.. Support External Affairs team’s community outreach and volunteer recruitment activities by identifying new outreach opportunities and supporting the facilitation of relationships with community-based organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.. Support ODI’s volunteerism program by conducting orientation and other trainings, deploying volunteers and interns in compliance with organization’s procedures, and tracking volunteer hours and in-kind contributions in donor database.. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CMS/WordPress, and/or multimedia and video editing software.. Fluency in Farsi, Pashto, Russian, Dari, Spanish, or other languages and cultures of the local refugee population.
