About the role

Warehouse Associate Spartan Industrial and Marine, a division of Singer Industrial, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Belle Chasse, LA. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and movement of industrial and marine products. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading and unloading materials, picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, fabricating hydraulic and industrial hoses, and keeping the warehouse organized and safe. Training will be provided, and employees will be expected to learn and perform hose fabrication and assembly as part of their regular job responsibilities. Duties/Responsibilities: Load and unload trucks containing industrial and marine products, supplies, and equipment. Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Organize inventory and ensure proper labeling and placement of products throughout the warehouse. Assist with routine inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies. Fabricate and assemble hydraulic and industrial hoses to customer specifications and company quality standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow all company safety guidelines, policies, and warehouse procedures. Assist with general warehouse maintenance and organization. Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications: Hydraulic and industrial hose assembly experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working with industrial products, tools, and equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must possess a clean driving record.
