Assist with coding and maintaining resident medical records and health information systems in compliance with federal and state guidelines and organizational procedures. Support billing and care planning by applying diagnosis codes, preparing admission face sheets, and tracking certification forms while protecting resident information. Code diagnoses for billing and care planning. Help maintain resident medical records and health information systems. Protect the confidentiality of resident health information and system access credentials. Coordinate with departments to ensure medical records are properly maintained. Prepare admission face sheets and track certification and recertification forms. Maintain organized work areas, replenish supplies, and report suspected unauthorized system access.
