Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, assisting physicians, monitoring physiological data, administering medication, and interacting with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures. Delegation of tasks to support staff and referrals to appropriate personnel are also part of the role.

Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors Basic computer skills
