American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg/Nephrology position requiring prior Med/Surg and Stepdown experience and an OK or compact RN license. Details~ Medicine/Nephrology unit in a hospital setting~ Cares for patients with a range of health conditions from simple to complex, including nephrology and dialysis patients~ Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week~36 hours per week

Additional Information~ Provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients, including assessment, intervention, and documentation of patient responses~ Assists physicians with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments~ Administers medications and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products~ Communicates care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge~ Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate~ Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position~ Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no flexibility for start date delays~30-day written notice required for early cancellation or termination of assignment~ Returning workers limited to one extension up to a total of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying American Traveler Job ID #P-767693.
