About the role

The AdventHealth Digestive Health and Surgery Institute (DHSI) is seeking a national leader in colorectal surgery to serve as the Division Medical Director for Colorectal Surgery in Central Florida. This leadership role oversees clinical excellence, strategy, and operations across multiple practice sites, hospitals, and counties. The successful candidate will guide a talented team of surgeons, participate in research studies, and help oversee one of the largest colorectal surgery fellowship programs in the country. Practice Info Division of Colorectal Surgery within the AdventHealth Digestive Health and Surgery Institute (DHSI) Oversees operations across 13 surgeons, 9 practice sites, 10 hospitals, and 4 counties in Central Florida Largest NAPRC accredited colorectal surgery group in Florida Home to Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and General Surgery service lines
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee colorectal surgery strategy, operations, and clinical excellence for 13 surgeons across 9 practice sites, 10 hospitals, and 4 counties in Central Florida
  • Participate in research studies
  • Oversee specialty associate medical directors in colorectal cancer, pelvic floor surgery, and one of the largest colorectal surgery fellowship programs in the United StatesLead strong cross-functional collaboration with Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and General Surgery service lines
