The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking an MD or equivalent Faculty member to work in their regional offices. Join the Wilmot Cancer Institute, a newly designated National Cancer Institute cancer center, at regional expansion sites in Upstate NY and the Southern Tier. This position offers a collaborative blend of outpatient Hematology/Medical Oncology with infusion center coverage, working alongside supportive UR faculty, APPs, and nursing staff. Practice Info Regional offices / regional expansion sites in Upstate NY / Southern Tier areas (Dansville and Webster Regional Offices) Wilmot Cancer Institute, a newly designated National Cancer Institute (NCI) cancer center at the University of Rochester Medical Center Outpatient Hematology/Medical Oncology with infusion center coverage Shift & ScheduleM-F days (8am-5pm) - shared call system
Responsibilities:
- Blend of outpatient Hematology/Medical Oncology with infusion center coverage
- Compensation$400,000 - $525,000 a year
- Competitive compensation and benefits package
- Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process

Qualifications:
- M.D., M.D./PH.D. Degree or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Successfully completed an accredited fellowship program and possess ABIM Board Certification in an oncology specialty
- Possess academic credentials and accomplishments for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or higher at University of Rochester School of Medicine and DentistryMust obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
- Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and DentistryMust meet all credentialing requirements
- Eligible for Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
- Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
