Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient medical histories, performing specific assessments, and establishing comprehensive treatment plans based on findings. Effectively communicate evaluation outcomes and treatment options to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting for their care. Implement and modify treatment protocols that are tailored to each patient's needs, while considering the dynamic nature of healthcare. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when necessary, identifying changes in a patient's condition that may require adjustments in care plans or referrals to other healthcare providers. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Exhibit excellent time-management skills and maintain a consistent schedule to meet productivity targets while being punctual for meetings and appointments. Participate in community marketing initiatives to promote access to our services and improve the overall patient experience. Proactively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional competencies and contribute to the organization's growth. Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Physical Therapist with Downtown Area Physical Therapy, you will address the needs of a wide range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, dealing with chronic pain, or rehabilitating after injuries. Our holistic approach to therapy allows us to cater to patients of all ages, ensuring we provide tailored interventions that resonate with their unique circumstances and aspirations.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A current and valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Florida. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience: While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with previous clinical rotation experience or internships will be considered a plus. Familiarity with home care models and telehealth practices would enhance the candidate's application and efficacy in this role.
