Emergency Room Travel Registered Nurse

Provide emergency nursing care at UAB Hospital during a 13-week travel assignment. Triage and assess patients, deliver rapid interventions and ordered treatments, and support resuscitation efforts with the emergency team. Triage and assess patients across acuity levels, reprioritizing care as conditions evolve. Deliver rapid interventions for cardiac emergencies, stroke, trauma, and sepsis. Administer emergency medications, IV therapy, and other ordered treatments. Respond to codes and trauma activations as part of the resuscitation team when assigned. Coordinate stabilization, testing, and disposition with the emergency team.
