Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse

BJC HealthCare seeks an Ambulatory Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our outpatient clinics. In this role, you will perform assessments, triage, medications, and patient education while coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. You’ll support chronic disease management, preventive care, and follow-up, documenting accurately in the EHR and contributing to safety and quality initiatives. Provide comprehensive nursing care to ambulatory patients across diverse clinics and specialties Perform assessments, triage, medication administration, and patient education per provider orders and protocols Coordinate care, follow-up, and referrals with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams Monitor patient response to treatments, document accurately in the electronic health record, and maintain clinical standards Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives within the clinic Support onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing education within a collaborative, mission-driven team Ambulatory and outpatient nursing care Patient triage and clinical assessment Medication administration and immunizations Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Care coordination and patient follow-up Patient and family education Vital signs and diagnostic test preparation Infection prevention and control Quality and safety protocols in clinical settings Interdisciplinary team collaboration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Ambulatory care or outpatient nursing certification (preferred)
