Illinois Licensed Nurse Auditor

Key responsibilities: Review patient charge statements to identify and defend services that are challenged by third-party payors Perform data analysis to verify accuracy of records and provide reports on findings to management Assist in establishing policies and procedures for internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations

Required qualifications: B.S.N. degree required RN license in the State of Illinois required 1-2 years of experience auditing medical records or medical claims Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and applicable computer systems Ability to serve as a resource for staff and temporary workers in the department
