About the role
Complete Staffing Legal is recruiting a senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a well-regarded law firm’s real estate practice. If you’re the person attorneys rely on for title, survey and zoning, this one is worth a look.
What you’ll do:
- Review title commitments, ALTA/NSPS surveys and zoning reports, and prepare clear summaries and abstracts
- Negotiate pro formas, surveys and zoning reports with title companies, surveyors and zoning consultants
- Draft title objection letters, estoppels, SNDAs, releases, memoranda and conveyance documents
- Manage title clearance, closing deadlines, execution and recording
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, ground leases and development deals
- Prepare and review leases and amendments
- Maintain closing binders and post-closing files, and mentor junior team members
- What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree 6+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience at a mid-size or large law firm
- Strong title, survey and zoning review experience
- Comfort with legal tech and AI tools for document review and transaction management
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deals and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-first attitude
- Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work around closings
