Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement, or eligibility for certification through the Michigan State Board of Education Candidates who do not yet hold a Michigan teaching certificate may qualify through enrollment in GEE's Career Advancement Program (CAP), which provides a supported pathway to Michigan certification. CAP eligibility is determined at the time of application.
