About the role

Overview: In this role you administer production control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving of materials to support base operations at Djibouti. You will verify item details, record status, and ensure accurate documentation under supervision, applying standard procedures while developing advanced skills. You contribute to mission readiness by maintaining material flow in a high-pressure environment. This position offers impact through hands-on stewardship of materials for naval and expeditionary needs. Responsibilities:
  • Inspect parts and materials for damage; verify quantity, part number, and serial number
  • Record and prepare status reports of requested and received items
  • Operate under supervision, applying standard concepts and developing advanced skills
  • Ensure proper handling of shipments through inventory control and shipping/receiving processes
  • Contribute to process improvements and service quality in ordnance-related material management

Bachelor + 5+ years experience or equivalent 3-5 years in ordnance or ammunition roles within Navy/Marine/Army/Air Forceability to obtain OPNAV/NAVSEA certificationssecret clearance (or ability to obtain)willingness to obtain/maintain explosive handling license (if applicable)strong prioritization and communication skillsability to work in high-pressure environmentsexcellent communicationleadershipinterpersonal skills Ordnance/Ammunition knowledgeOPNAV/NAVSEA certificationsexplosive handling (where applicable)
