Monitor and record patient’s condition and document care provided Perform daily patient assessments and administer medications and treatments Communicate effectively with physicians to deliver efficient care Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens Participate in development and implementation of nursing care plans Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes Strong clinical skills in a Progressive Care Unit Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitors Proficient in using electronic medical records and healthcare software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or ability to obtain BLS Certification ACLS Certification ideally within the first six months of employment
