  • Are you a credentialed teacher who loves working with students but has also thought about growing into school leadership or administration?
  • Creative STEAM Academy is looking for a dynamic, flexible, and highly organized Resource Teacher to join our growing team.
  • This is a unique hybrid position designed for an educator who wants to continue making a direct impact with students while also gaining hands-on experience in the administrative and operational side of education.
  • Our Resource Teacher will work across classrooms, support students through small-group and individualized instruction, assist teachers in combination classes, and spend part of their role learning and supporting entry-level school administration.
  • For the right person, this position offers an opportunity to grow along an administrative and leadership development track as our program continues to expand.
  • What You’ll DoAcademic & Student Support
  • Support teachers in combination and multi-grade classrooms
  • Lead small-group instruction and targeted student pull-out groups
  • Provide individualized support for students who may be slightly behind or need additional reinforcement
  • Help students strengthen foundational skills and build academic confidence
  • Provide individual tutoring and intervention when needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify student needs and provide additional support
  • Step into different classrooms and grade levels as needed
  • Administrative & Leadership Development
  • This role is also an opportunity to begin learning what happens behind the scenes of running a successful educational program.
  • Depending on experience, interests, and program needs, responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting day-to-day school operations
  • Assisting with student and family records
  • Helping coordinate school events, field trips, and special programs
  • Supporting event planning and logistics
  • Assisting with billing and basic administrative processes
  • Helping with family communications and program organization
  • Supporting enrollment and other operational projects
  • Working alongside school leadership on special projects and initiatives
  • Learning the systems, processes, and responsibilities involved in educational administration
