Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist

Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Encompass Health, seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered rehabilitative care in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this dynamic, collaborative environment, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, design and implement individualized treatment plans, and promote functional independence for diverse patient populations. Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, function, and independence Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans in EMR systems Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies Participate in quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives Patient evaluation Treatment planning Neurological rehabilitation Orthopedic rehabilitation ADL training Therapeutic exercise Interdisciplinary teamwork Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Discharge planning Caregiver education Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program NBCOT certification preferred Current BLS/CPR certification
