Advanced Practice Provider, Wound Care and Ostomy

Provide wound care and ostomy services across hospital settings as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. Assess and triage patients, obtain histories, perform examinations, order and review tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe within applicable guidelines, and collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team. Obtain patient medical histories and perform physical examinations. Assess and triage patient and family needs throughout the disease process. Order and review diagnostic, therapeutic, and radiologic tests. Formulate and manage patient treatment plans and prescribe medications within applicable guidelines. Collaborate with supervising or collaborating physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. Provide patient education and psychosocial support.
