Details Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact/eNLC) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required Full DOB and SSN required for consideration Additional Information Provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents patient responses to nursing interventions Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments Administers medication and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge information Delegates tasks to support staff as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no start date flexibility Workers may extend assignments one time up to a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-.
